there’s a word for what we’re gonna have and that word is FUN, Word Party!
As much as I would love to keep my son away from the TV for as long as possible, most parents know there comes a time when you need a distraction. Our little bug is super busy so when it’s time to make dinner, you need some assistance.
Thank you, Netflix. Our little bug was about 10 months old when we discovered Word Party and it’s been his favourite ever since. We tried other shows, but none of them kept his attention like Word Party.
Word Party is an interactive show that invites you to help take care of four adorable baby animals as they sing, dance and play their way through their daily routines, learning new and exciting words along the way!
The four characters are Franny the cheetah, Bailey the elephant, Lulu the panda and Kip the wallaby. The music is fun and catchy, so be warned, you will find yourself on your way to work or standing in the shower singing, word party, the party just begun, there’s a word for what we’re gonna have and that word is fun.
Little bug’s 1st birthday was fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than have a Word Party theme.
I found an artist to replicate the characters on styrofoam cut-outs. It was a huge hit and still is the main attraction in his room.
The matching balloons provided lots of entertainment and all the little friends had so much fun with the colouring pages. (link below)
You too can host an awesome party for your little one without the hassle of finding all the pictures yourself.
I’ve put together a free resource page for personalised colouring pages, printable cupcake toppers, character masks, welcome banner, bottle labels and transparent images of all the characters for your own creations.
The cute t-shirt design is available on the link below, you can edit on Canva and take along to your local print shop for assistance.
You can also edit the birthday invitation, which you can email or Whatsapp to your friends and family. Both links will take you to Canva, it’s a free online site for all things creative, so have fun!
We had so much fun planning this party and we are sure you will too.
We would love to hear from you, so please let us know how your kiddo’s party turned out.
